We are often asked about wardrobe “must haves” here at the shop. And it is part of our philosophy to inform our clients about what is most relevant to keep in your closet while stretching the budget by “mixing and matching”. Regardless of trends and seasons, there will always be those staples that can be modified to each individuals lifestyle…and here is the “Island life” list. It makes travel and wardrobe planning easy!
The intention here is to show the most basic (neutral) versions of each item and then show a glimpse of its varieties (classic/office, fun/play, boho/artsy), as each person has their own style! With a bit of imagination and the right accessories,virtually all of these pieces can be recombined for various looks. Remember how important fabrics are: Knits are essentially wrinkle-free, cottons and linens can work in the right style or print.

The pant
Of course, our climate allows linen year round and our clients know we have a great selection…so here are other styles that also can work for day, fun and around town. Pant fit needs to be right on..we always suggest the “sit down test” (a/k/a/ “shake your booty” test) to ensure rise comfort and remember…that your height and shoe style dictate leg width.
